Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Bioneers Conference!
Please Note: The Bioneers Conference is in full swing and we are no longer able to process press passes. Friday and Saturday are sold out in the main theater. Please reach out to press@bioneers.org for any needs.
The annual Bioneers Conference represents a phenomenal opportunity for journalists to find out about leading edge stories and projects, in many cases before they hit the mainstream. As Bill McKibben noted in a New York Times article, “The issues they were raising a decade ago, from local food to rooftop power, have moved into the mainstream. Bioneers has been consistently ahead of the curve. It began as a gathering place for a fairly small number of like-minded people but is now a hatchery for the next wave of important ideas that five years hence people will be talking about in Rotary Clubs.”
2019 will be a major milestone, the 30th annual Bioneers Conference (a newsworthy event on its own) and we anticipate a rich and diverse array of speakers, both legendary figures along with some of the best and brightest people and projects you’ve never heard of.
We welcome press and journalists to attend the conference and are happy to help arrange interviews and provide story recommendations and leads.
We do limit the number of credentials each outlet can receive. Please indicate how many passes you would like in your application and our team will carefully review your request and will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please be mindful that filming and photographing inside the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium is not allowed at any time. Out of respect for Indigenous and Youth programming, we also do not allow filming, photography and / or audio recording in the Indigenous Forum tent, the Native Youth Art Space and all events related to the Indigenous program. Bioneers will be recording these activities and will make footage available after the conference.
